SKYport AODB as Central Information Platform for Airport Management
SKYport AODB, the Airport Operational DataBase of ISO Software Systeme, provides an airport with the ideal platform for information storage, processing and distribution.
Based on an ORACLE database server, it guarantees the availability and integrity of operational data and offers controlled access to the right information for all concerned parties.
All components of the SKYport AODB have powerful software tools to manage master and transaction data.
Easy-to-use graphical user interfaces, its outstanding integration abilities and the easy adaptation to customer specific requirements make SKYport AODB the ideal and cost-effective software solution for airports of any size and structure.
Tailor-made Software Applications Support the Core Business Processes of Airport Management
- A flexibly expandable master data management supports your users in the daily work with the AODB. You can manage information about airlines, airplanes and airport facilities.
- Create your own seasonal scheduling interactively and import schedules from regional coordination authorities, for instance, the Deutscher Flughafenkoordinator (Fluko), with the SKYport Connect Adapter.
- The Daily Flight Management manages the scheduled and the general aviation traffic.
- The flexible and integrated User Management allows you to control the information flow specifically: each employee receives exactly the information they need to complete their tasks.
The Single Components of Our SKYport AODB
The flexible communication server SKYport Connect conjoins with numerous partner and external systems via specific adapters and integrates them seamlessly into the airport operations.
Examples for Adapters:
- SITA Messages – receiving and sending of SITA messages in numerous IATA formats
- FLUKO – import seasonal scheduling from regional coordination authorities, e.g., the Deutscher Flughafenkoordinator (FLUKO) or the internationally widespread SCORE system.
- Air Traffic Control – the online exchange of information with tower systems like the TFDPS of DFS or others reduces the acquisition effort, optimizes data actuality and is the basis for a cooperative decision management.
- Video Text – all current information can be provided for the passenger via broadcasters‘ teletext services.
In addition, SKYport Connect allows for a cost-efficient implementation of individual connections to your in-house systems like
- baggage handling
- noise measurement or
- human resource management
SKYport Activities extends the standard functionality of SKYport AODB by an activities management.
Ground handling activities defined by contract can be stored for every flight. While generating the daily flight schedule, thus, a task is created for every flight which is provided for the supervisor either in paper form or as a dialogue on the mobile terminal.
In addition to the activities defined by contract, optional activities can be displayed and legitimized by authorized persons like pilots or ramp agents on request.
A mobile browser application has the advantage that the supervisor can record real-time response with a time stamp and, thus, provide reliable actual data for billing and controlling.
SKYport Resources extends the functional scope of the SKYport AODB by an efficient management of immobile resources as gates, parking positions or baggage conveyor belts.
Preferred parking positions can be stored for every flight. Adjustments of these assignments can easily be made with drag and drop in daily operations. An automated conflict detection keeps the user from wrong entries.
SKYport Resources is fully integrated into the SKYport AODB and all changes of resource assignments are instantly stored in the AODB and, thus, visible to all users.
SKYport FIDS extends the functional scope of the SKYport AODB by browser based public displays such as arrival, departure, check-in and gate displays. The direct integration with the AODB avoids redundancies and displays passenger information with the highest possible topicality.
