Our software product SKY-BI offers business intelligence functions for airports. SKY-BI makes use of SAP BI technology. It includes business performance management as well as aeronautical statistics and business planning, simulation and budgeting.

Operational Airport BI

SKYport Reporting provides you with the opportunity to evaluate your data from AODB and accounting comprehensively. Due to the close integration with the operational database all data are available real-time and on a detailed level.

SKYport Reporting allows evaluating your data from AODB and accounting comprehensively. Due to the close integration with the operational database all data are available real-time and on a detailed level.

Reports can be displayed in all standard formats like HTML, XML or XLS and processed in other applications. Ad-hoc queries of the database are possible as well as the designing of optically ambitious reports with a Report-Designer.

The consistent usage of open standards while realizing the solution allows a simple connection of SKYport Reporting to SKYport AODB as well as SKYport Billing and databases of third parties.

Business Performance Management with SKYport BI with SAP

The standard scope of queries covers:

• aeronautical statistics: airport traffic figures (passengers, aircraft movements, cargo) incl. official statistics (ACI statistics, statistics according to national regulations)
• charges (aviation revenues)
• final destinations
• delays
• plan / actual comparison

Ad-hoc reports can be designed by the users with drag & drop. The system offers both, a web frontend and a Microsoft Excel frontend.

The strategic scheduling creates and evaluates scenarios (best case, worst case or most probable case). Which impacts does the entry (or exit) of a carrier have on the airport’s charges?  What consequences do events in the destination area have on air traffic number? The strategic scheduling answers to this. SKYport BI with SAP uses seasonal flight schedules and seat load factors to create a simulation of future charges.
