Address Validation MAC-VAL - technical details
Technical details
The software was created in ISO's own namespace /ISO/ to guarantee an optimal integration into the SAP® systems. The Standard-SAP®-Technology BAdI (Business Add-In) for the central address management (ZAV), release 4.7 -> business address services (BAS), was used. Therefore the address validation is available for objects

- central business partner.
Communication between SAP-system and MAC-VAL is being done via remote function call (RFC). A web service is called for address validation. The data is transmitted using a safe internet connection (SSL) based on XML.
Installation
Installation is being done by workbench and customizing transport requests, which are implemented using the transport and change management.
The MAC-VAL connector (Java program) is installed on a web server. An open port is used for the connection.
