Multi CRS Gateway
The Multi CRS Gateway is the basis for the flexible "Dynamic Packaging" functionality of our tour operator systems
OCEAN,
Canary,
Pacific and
Atlantic. The Multi CRS Gateway is the handling layer and the interface to all required external supplier systems.
As a tour operator you will have flexible access to the services of your suppliers without having to load complex base data. You only have to set up the so-called "shells" in OCEAN / Canary. These will be filled dynamically with concrete data from the external systems during the booking process.
These are the main advantages of the Multi CRS Gateway:
- You are able to offer your customers a wide spectrum of services
- You have little work with acquisition and processing
- Availabilities are always displayed up-to-date
- Your users do not have to know how to handle the external supplier systems. The Multi CRS Gateway takes care of that
OCEAN and
Canary in combination with Multi CRS Gateway are designed for the parallel query of multiple external systems. This means i.e. a request for a specific flight can be sent to several carrier systems and retrieve from them in parallel. This allows for more results in a shorter period of time.
The basic Multi CRS Gateway holds the full business logic and functionality. Here also the consistency of each transaction is controlled. You need one basic license for the CRS-Engine, no matter which external system you want to connect to.
In addition to the basic Multi CRS Gateway and based on your individual needs, you can get individual format engines. These are format converters to connect to specific external systems.
The Multi CRS Gateway already supports the following formats:
- STADIS:
for package tour operations (leading standard in Europe), also used for flight connections - STEAL:
more modern version of STADIS - dynamical mask for packages - EDIFACT:
Communication standard for connecting business oriented systems (i.e. used for Amadeus flight reservations. - TTY:
Communication with "old" main frame systems. - HUBRO:
specific format, to connect to cruise inventory systems (i.e. used for "Hurtigruten" / "Norwegian Coastal Voyages"). - RESIII:
Connection to the flight inventory system by IBM. - MARS:
Connection to the flight inventory system by Mercator. - OpenSkies:
The leading format for Low Cost Carriers worldwide, by Navitaire
