Travel-XML - XML-interface for web access
Travel-XML-Server enables you to provide your service through your various internet sales channels. The XML-interface was created in accordance with the recommendations of the "Open Travel Alliance" and strongly extended by our specific needs.
The Travel-XML-Server is responsible for the communication between your internet website / external applications and 
OCEAN / Canary. AS the special benefit, your existing webpage can remain and the Travel-XML-Server can be inserted by you so that you can keep your own layout and corporate identity.
Thus, Travel-XML-Server serves for the following functions:
- Connection of your website to your tour operator system
- Connection of the ISO component Mellow - B2B-WebClient for Agencies to your tour operator system
- Connection of the ISO component Maroon - B2B-WebClient for Suppliers to your tour operator system
In order to connect your own website to OCEAN and Canary, you would receive from us a detailed description of the interface. A user interface is not included, because every customer has his/her own ideas with respect to design. So all masks and applications can be created by you. We would be pleased to help you with the development of your website and internet booking engine (IBE).
Via the interface, you can access nearly all booking relevant functions of the OCEAN / Canary system such as availability checks, bookings, rebookings, cancellations, etc.
With Travel-XML-Server you get access to the sales channels Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Customer (B2C). Hence, every possibility of online reservation and online checks is available for you.
The XML-Interface transfers "facts" such as dates, allotments, prices, etc. Further information like texts, descriptions and pictures or similar multimedia information are not transferred by this interface. A complementary Content Management System can be implemented here. We recommend the use of a standard-system. We are pleased to help you regarding the choice of an appropriate system for you and the set up or the connection of the database.
