Microsoft Surface can be used in various ways and for distribution of various products in different scenarios.
With its interactive interface and dynamism, Microsoft Surface is a natural tool for tour operators to use. Microsoft Surface can act as an additional sales channel for your own products. When Microsoft Surface is connected to your own tour operator software,  it can exclusively distribute your products. Microsoft Surface can be used in your own sales offices for these purposes and more.

By utilizing the Microsoft Surface interface, the "value-added" versatility of the technology justifies services being calculated and sold exclusively and at a premium. In other words you can calculate a higher margin for your services if you distribute them through Microsoft Surface. To enable this, your Microsoft Surface must be connected to your tour operator system (i.e. at your central office) and receive all data from there. This data may include your central customer database, as shown in the example, this can be the undefinedtourism CRM "Emerald" by ISO.

Microsoft Surface can also boost the sales of travel agency cooperations. These cooperations can install one or more tables in each travel agency. These agencies usually do not sell any own operator services, instead (or additionally) they sell travel products from other tourism companies and wholesalers. Today the agencies use the classical distribution systems – but from now on they can use the Microsoft Surface as a friendly bridge for their increased benefit.
